The Essential Caregiver Program

The week before Thanksgiving Governor Raimondo announced that the RI Department of Health was working on guidance for nursing homes and assisted living to allow family caregivers in to facilities to care for their loved ones.

I am happy to share that as of Monday December 21st the Essential Caregiver Program has been approved.

The facilities themselves will choose whether of not they will participate in the Essential Caregiver Program.
