Gerald P. “Gerry” LePage of Tiverton is the Community Resource Specialist for Elder Services of Child & Family in Middletown. In addition to answering calls to the Elders program on the complete spectrum of questions, needs, and concerns of our senior citizens, Gerry coordinates the Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP) as well as Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) for all of Newport County; the CARE professional networking group; and is host of Senior Soundings, a public-access television program.
A lifelong resident of the area, Gerry earned an undergraduate degree from University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth and a Master’s at Salve Regina University. An employee of Child & Family for the past nine years, he formerly built and managed his own investment advisory practice over 25 years, and worked in the human services industry with The ARC. Married for 37 years with two adult daughters, Gerry and his wife Doreen live in Middletown. He also has an extensive background in volunteer management and serves on the planning committee for Age-Friendly Newport and the work group of the Newport Health Equity Zone.
