Judy Fortier

Judy Fortier a resident of Pawtucket Rhode Island and has a B.A. Psychology from Rhode Island College. Judy has nearly 40 years of experience working and volunteering in Rhode Island. She has a strong interest in advocating for individuals with disabilities due to growing up with a close cousin who has a disability.

Judy opened the first state office of Best Buddies Rhode Island in 2003 and served as State Director. In 2007 Judy joined Easter Seals Rhode Island as the director of development for 12 years. Currently Judy is a Senior Representative at Santander Bank. Judy has served on several local volunteer board of directors including the Rotary Club of Wakefield, Blackstone Valley Arc Human Rights Committee Chair, Fogarty Center Human Rights Committee Chair, and the Pawtucket Cancer Control Task Force, Co-Chair.
