Information on wellness programs, health care services, hospitalization, substance abuse and addiction treatment, and other support programs. The Center also provides readjustment counseling and outreach services to all veterans who served in a combat zone. Bereavement counseling and counseling for harassment is available. Family members and/or significant others are eligible for support regarding military-related issues. There is no cost to the veteran or family for these services. The office also hosts the Center for Women Veterans, the Homeless Assistance Program, and other initiatives, to improve the quality of life for those who have served in the armed forces.

Responsible for the management of most non-medical benefits provided by the Veterans Benefits Administration, including compensation, pensions, vocational rehabilitation, and counseling. New Englanders Helping Our Veterans assists Veterans in need to give them easier access to help. Veterans simply need to provide proof of serving our country, apply in writing via email or postal mail.

RI Honor Flight offers WWII and Korean War Veterans a no-cost trip to visit the memorials in Washington, DC.

Team RWB‘s mission is to enrich the lives of America’s veterans by connecting them to their community through physical and social activity.

Visiting Veterans Corps through the Diocese of Providence provides visitors, who are former military themselves, to elderly or disabled Veterans.

Jewish Collaborative Services of Rhode Island Partners in Care Program (401-331-1244) provides volunteers to visit Veterans. Volunteers do not provide any personal care or medical services or do any heavy lifting.

RIServes is a coordinated network of public, private and nonprofit organizations serving veterans, service members and their families in Rhode Island.
